Time Imprint

Time Imprint captures the fleeting ripples formed by raindrops, translating them onto wood. The concentric ripple patterns on the surface symbolize the eternity of time and space, while the natural texture of the wood represents the vitality of nature, recreating the harmony between stillness and movement in both time and nature.

The natural flow of the wood’s grain blends seamlessly with the carved ripple patterns, creating a dynamic visual effect. As light and shadow shift from different angles, each perspective offers a unique experience.

 

Time Imprint showcases how digital design in contemporary art can, through precise machine fabrication, capture and convey the tranquility and depth of traditional craftsmanship. It invites viewers into a reflective space where nature, art, and technology converge.
